  3. is this quiet enough for inside the repair shop?

    1. This model is safe to be used inside a repair shop. With the silencer installed it is around 62 decibels (dB) and without the silencer installed it is around 72 dB.

  4. What size wire do I need to install this compressor? Also, what size breaker do I need?

    1. The recommended breaker size for this compressor is 60 amps. You would need to use a wire that is rated for 60 amps or larger and that meets any electrical codes for your area for the load, wire material, and location of the wire.

  5. The compressor states that it is max pressure 175psi but is also states a working pressure of 145psi? Does this mean you can’t set the pressure to 175 and leave it for daily use?

    1. That is correct. The air compressor may not be set beyond it's max. working pressure.

    1. The ESP model has a pressure lubricated oil system with a pump life rating of 70,000 hours. The ES model is splash lubricated with a pump life rating of 50,000 hours.

    1. Due to different variables when measuring Decibel rating, the manufacturer does not have a specific rating, however this unit has a rough Decibel rating of 62dB with the silencer installed. The Decibel rating would be roughly 72dB without the silencer installed.
