Unit features industrial ODP electric motors, magnetic starters, automatic tank drain, powder-coated ASME tank 200 PSI rating, along with continuous run functionality all paired with all cast iron 60,000-hour rated patented pressure lubricated reciprocating pump. This unit features Patented Silent Air system already installed. The Silent Air system dissipates compressor intake noise by channeling the intake air through a series of baffle plates. This low-profile system adds 4 levels of air filtration along with making the compressor quiet, lowering the decibels by more than 35%. EMAX has paired this compressor with a 58 CFM energy efficient refrigerated air dryer with built in coalescing filters and automatic water drain, to make your buying experience seamless!   1. The product summary mentions "continuous run functionality" however, the duty cycle is only 70%. Please explain how both can be correct?

    1. The compressor is a 70/30 duty cycle. If your workload is over 50-60 percent duty cycle it is recommended that you engage the continuous run feature to eliminate the start and stop arching and wear and tear on the magnetic contacts in the motor. They are arching as the motor starts and stops. For normal work loads, you may turn off the continuous feature and the unit will go back to the automatic start/stop operation.
