The Dyna-Glo X-Series 7,500W Electric Garage Heater is the ideal heating solution for your garage, warehouse, or workshop. This unit includes multiple heat and timer settings as well as a 'fan only' setting, all easily controlled by remote control and displayed on the LED touch screen. The heater provides 17,060 and 25,589 BTUs while efficiently heating areas of 750 sq ft.  To ensure safety, this heater includes an overheat protection and a caution indicator light.

    1. The heater can be used with an external double pole wall thermostat. There is not a C wire for a smart thermostat.

  4. How loud is this unit at Max fan speed? How many ohms?

    1. The noise level is just under 75 dB (decibels). The manufacturer does not measure in Ohms.

  5. Can this be wired to a plug? I already have a 240v outlet installed on my ceiling and I don't want to hardwire this

    1. The heater could be set up with a plug, but you need to make sure it is grounded and the plug and socket are rated for the appropriate wattage or amperage.

  6. WHAT AMP CIRCUT BREAKERS IS REQURIED FOR THE 7500 WATT DYNAGLOWDELUX

    1. A minimum circuit breaker of 40 amps is required for this unit and the maximum circuit breaker is 50 amps. All wiring must be carried out by a Certified Electrician and in accordance to national and local electrical codes.

  7. Can a Thermostat be installed to control it from the house?

    1. The heater is compatible with a 240V line voltage double pole wall thermostat. It is recommended that the thermostat be installed by a certified electrician.

  8. What is the maximum temperature of this unit?

    Some of these units are maxxed at 86 degrees, which is not enough for my needs.

    1. The heating element is rated for safe operation at 284°F. An external thermostat is recommended to hold the maximum room temperature at 109-150°F.

  9. Does the fan run continuously on this unit, as they do on some other Dyna Glows, or does it cut off after reaching the set temperature.

    1. The fan on this Dyna Glo heater will run continuously. When the heater is turned off, the fan will run
      a short cooling cycle and then turn off.
