The Dyna-Glo 50K-200K BTU Propane Convection Heater is ideal for outdoor/indoor construction, as well as industrial commercial applications, making it an excellent choice for your portable heating needs. It features easy-to-ignite piezo ignition, continuously variable heat settings, and requires no electricity. This unit offers a 200,000 BTU maximum capacity, sufficient to heat an area up to 4,700-sq ft. It is equipped with a large sturdy base to prevent tipping and an automatic overheat shutoff to ensure safe use. Hose and regulator assembly are included.(LP tank sold separately)

  1. How long will a normal size propane tank last with this heater before needed to switch or refill tanks ?

    1. The minimum fuel consumption rating is 2.32 lbs./hr. The maximum fuel consumption is 9.28 lbs./hr. The run time on a 100 pound tank will be 43 hours at 50K, 18 hours at 120K and 11 hours at 200K. On a 40 pound tank the run time is 17 hours at 50K and a 20 tank the run time is 9 hours at 50K.

    1. This heater is approved for indoor construction and commercial use with proper ventilation. Please refer to the Air Quality Hazard section of the Product Manual located on page 3.
