  1. Does the electric cable connect to the cigarette lighter? If not how does it connect to 12volt power?

    1. The spreader will come with a wiring harness to be connected directly to the vehicles 12 volt battery.

  2. Can the rate of seed flow and width of spread be adjusted?

    1. The spreader does not have variable speed. You will adjust the flow near the bottom of the hopper. Spread width would be adjusted per the speed of the vehicle.

    1. The motor on the spreader is not variable speed. Rated speed is 570 RPM.

  5. For use on Ranger 1000. Can feed gate be operated from the cab? If no agitator, how do you ensure material continues to flow without clogging?

    1. The feed gate can be operated from the cab, a wiring harness to the power switch is included. This unit is gravity fed, as long as it is used with the appropriate intended materials, it should not clog.
