This 6-lb. capacity Precision Handheld Broadcast Spreader makes smaller seed-spreading jobs a snap! Its lightweight design weighs in at just more than one pound, but the performance is heavy-duty. A smooth-cranking wheel engages the spreader mechanism and the flow rate can easily be adjusted with a sliding control. The plastic spreader holds 3 lbs. of grass seed or 6 lbs. of pelletized material. Ideal for seeding or fertilizing small areas, hills, uneven ground, and wet terrain that doesn't suit a tow behind or push spreader, or for applying ice melt to sidewalks, steps and driveways.

  1. Setting for overseeding lawn

    1. There are 5 settings on the spreader. Setting one is for fine grass seed. Setting two is for course grass seed. Setting three is for granular fertilizer. Setting four is for Weed and feed and ice melt. And setting five is for weed control and rock salt. There is no setting for over seeding.
