    2. On this TowZone 12in. Electric Drum Brake Kit, they will come with stickers marking left and right. The left/drivers side is red with an L and the Right/ passenger side is green with a R. When mounted the wire will exit the backing plate behind the axle.

    it does not list in the package any mounting bolts. There are five for this application.

    the pictures show it to be the same number (K370508)

  5. Where do I find wiring instructions

    I purchased this kit and installed the hubs, where do I find instructions for wiring.

    1. Wiring instructions are not included with the product because it depends on the specific brake controller. So the customer has to wire based on their specific brake controller configuration making sure that the same color coded wire used on the positive and negative on the right side is wired the same on the left side.

    How do I measure the bolt pattern on this item do I measure from one stud hole hole to the other in a circle or do I go from one bolt across the axel to the other And I assume that these are going from center to center of bolts Thanks

    1. To measure the bolt pattern on this item measure from the center of one bolt to the center of the bolt directly opposite using a ruler.

  8. What are the bearing sizes

    My spindle takes 1 1/4 front and 1 3/4 rear. Will this fit ?

    1. The brake kit has inside bearings of 1 3/4" and outside bearing of 1 1/4". This would fit.

  9. What size studs come with this?

    The lug nuts that have now are acorn 1/2" RH hex 13/16" conical wheel. Will these fit?

    1. The stud size is 3/8" x 16" and will not work for your application.

  10. Are there any bearing buddies that work for these hubs? What size grease caps do you use?

    1. The dust caps on these electric drum brakes are 2-1/2", but the manufacturer recommends against using Bearing Buddies on them and it would void the warranty.
