  4. how far apart are the mouting bolts holes

    1. The two top horizontal holes farthest apart are 11.875" apart, center to center. The two vertical holes close together are 8.875" apart, center to center.

    1. This model requires (2) 4 inch long x 1/2 diameter Grade 5 bolts and lock washers.

  8. Backing up?

    Is a "pin" required for backing up the trailer?

    1. The actuator is designed for use with free-backing trailer brakes. Free-backing design lets you go in reverse without activating the trailer brakes. You can deactivate automatic braking to back up by blocking tires, pull forward with pin out until second hole is revealed and insert pin into this hole.
