By choosing the hub, spindle and axle tube you need and building it yourself, you save money and get a better result. Axle tubes are 72in. long and can be cut to the exact length needed for your application. Welding an axle requires the proper equipment and skill needed to apply a proper weld. If you are not comfortable with your welding capabilities, have a qualified welder assemble your axle.

  1. Can I use this hub/spindle setup for a 3000 lb. axel

    Is there enough weight capacity. Or do I have to have each hub/spindle rate for 3000 lbs. I do have a 2x2 axel. This application is for a dual axel boat trailer.

    1. Yes, 3000lb axel should have minimum 1500lb hubs per side

    1. The bolt pattern on the brake flange would be 5 hole on a 4 1/2 inch bolt circle. The OD of the stub would be 2 inches.

  9. How do u grease the bearings. Are these ez lube hubs?

    1. The hubs will come pre-greased. The hubs will have a zerk fitting to grease the bearings as needed.
