    1. At 120V, the draw is 78.1 amps for start up and 62.5 amps running. At 240V, the draw is 39.1 amps for start up and 31.3 amps running.

  2. do i need to break in the generator before useing . or is it ready to go right out of the box

    1. This is ready to go out of the box, the first oil change should be done after 5 hours of operation.

  3. How do you change the oil

    1. To change the oil you will need to remove the drain bolt and allow warm oil to drain into an oil pan. Replace the drain bolt and fill with new oil. Recommended oil is 10W-30 and this unit has a capacity of 1.2 quarts. Full maintenance information is included in the product manual located on our product page.

    1. This Champion Generator does not offer a propane conversion kit. Any modification to this will void the warranty.

    1. A fuel gauge is not included with this Champion generator. The Intelligauge monitors run time and the 5.7 gallon fuel tank provides 8 hours of run time at half load.

  7. I do not see an RV outlet listed. Does this model come with one or would i have to go with the smaller unit?

    1. This generator will have two plugs that could be used for an RV. One is a 30A, 4-prong twist lock receptacle, NEMA L14-30R, and the other is a 50A, 3-blade with ground, NEMA 14-50R.
