  1. hi, what are the dimensions of the panel. how many 20amp breakers come with it. i need 6 20 amp breaker. thank you. Roy.

    1. The Reliance 310CRK comes with three 20-amp breakers total, two single-pole 20 A breakers and one double-pole 20 A breaker. The transfer box dimensions are 11 inches high, 11.75 inches wide, and 4.5 inches deep.

  2. I have arc fault breakers in my house how will this affect your product

    1. The arc fault breakers would not affect the transfer switch. Note, that when you switch over to the generator for alternate power the arc fault breakers do not work.

  3. under a power outage does this unit start the standby generator automatically and then shut it down when line power is restored?

    1. The transfer switch would not automatically start up and shut down. You will still need to go plug the cord into the generator and power inlet box and start the generator.

  4. Is the 30AMP plug pre wired to the transfer box?

    1. The 30 amp plug is not prewired to the transfer box.

  5. Is the pre wired for the transfer box? Is there conduit included for through the wall and to the transfer box?

    1. The transfer switch would have the conduit to wire the transfer switch to the breaker. It would not have the conduit to connect the transfer switch to the power inlet box as that would be determined by what type of wall you are going through. You would need to purchase that separately.

  6. If I wanted to use this to power my enclosed cargo trailer, can I connect to 30 amp shore power in lieu of a generator?

    1. The transfer switch can be used to power an enclosed cargo trailer, as long as you have a main circuit breaker to connect it to. It cannot be used as the main circuit.

  7. Are all the wires 12 gauge coming out of the box to be used for all 20 amp breakers

    1. The A & B wires would be rated at 10 gauge for a maximum of 30 amps. The rest would be rated at 12 gauge for a maximum of 20 amps.

  8. How long are the transfer switch wires?

    1. The wire length coming out of the bottom of the switch is approximately 4.5ft.

  9. Can the location of the conduit with the wires be moved from the bottom of the transfer switch to the top of the transfer switch? I don’t have the room next to my main circuit breaker box, I would like to mount it under my main breaker box.

    1. Per the manufacturer, we have to advise against moving the conduit and wiring from the bottom to the top of the enclosure. There’s a lot of internal wiring in the top 1/2 of the transfer switch (behind the circuit breakers and toggle switches) that could cause issues with routing the additional wiring, and I would have some concerns about temperature. The other minor problem would be the lack of knockouts in the upper half of the transfer switch.

  10. Is there a light or meter ir something else on this to inform you when utility power is restored like on the generac homelike series?

    1. There is not an indicator light on the transfer switch that will let you know that the power has been restored. It is recommended to have an item plugged into a circuit that is not supported by the transfer switch. When the power is restored this item will come on and notify you to shut down the generator power.
