Acetaldehyde, cyclopropane, diethlether, Ethylene, isoprene, Acetone, acrylonitrile, ammonia, benzene, Butane, ethylene dichloride, gasoline, hexane, methane, methanol, naphtha, propane, propylene, styrene, toluene, vinyl, acetate, vinyl chloride and xylene. The product manual contains a full list of other products that can and cannot be used with this fan.

This Canarm Explosion-Proof Exhaust Fan can be used in a pant booth, if it is being used to exhaust the smell of the paint. It will not work if you need to have filters in front of the fan to catch the paint.

There is not a decibel rating on this fan. The decibels should be approximately between 65 and 70 depending on environmental and structural conditions.

Do the shutters come on and off automatically when turned on and off? Is speed control available for this model or is it one speed only?

The shutters would open when the fan is turned on and the close when it is turned off. It is only one speed. It runs at 1640 CFM.
