Product Summary

Buyers Products SaltDogg Hydraulic Stainless Hopper with Auger is ready for heavy duty commercial use. The 8ft. spreader fits in the back of 1 ton trucks with 8ft. beds. It spreads bulk salt or a 50/50 salt/sand mix. The spreader's powerful hydraulic design provides quiet, low maintenance operation with no need for refueling or engine servicing. The hopper and fully-welded frame are made from long lasting, corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. A powerful 5-1/4in. full length steel variable pitch auger with stainless steel trough provides high speed material flow. The auger and spinner are both directly driven by independent hydraulic motors for precise flow and spread control. A six-fin, 14in. poly spinner spreads material 5-30ft. The stainless steel chute swings away for easy cleaning, storage, and bulk unloading. The spreader is outfitted with a top screen, stainless steel inverted V, and tie down kit.
