This ATI 51-Gallon Aluminum Refueling Transfer Tank is designed and constructed with the industrial user in mind and can be used with transfer pumps up to 30 lbs. The heavy-duty tank features a commercial-grade lockable cap and rollover vent. Two 2in. bungs allow for reversing the fuel fill caps and fuel transfer pump to the side you prefer best. This tank is approved for use with gasoline, diesel, methanol, kerosene, aviation fuel and other liquids.

  1. can i use this tank for a backup generator fuel tank using the 3/8 ouylet for my supply and adapting my over flow to work with the second 2 inch bung hole?

    1. This tank would work for this application; however, a vent would need to be incorporated into the 2” NPT. If feeding from the bottom 3/8” NPT fitting, the tank will need a way to let air into the tank as it draws fuel from the bottom.

    1. The aluminum fuel transfer tank is not recommended to be used for potable water.
