  1. Does this stove automatically shut off when the room comes up to temp and restart when the room cools down

    1. The stove will not automatically shut off when it reaches the room temperature. When you run the stove in T-Stat Mode (using its built-in room sensor or an optional wall thermostat), it modulates its output rather than turning off. It will drop down to the lowest setting until the temperature drops below the desired setting, then it will come back up to the higher setting.

  3. What diameter of vent do I need?

    1. The vent must use a certified 3-inch or 4-inch “PL” pellet vent system. Use a 3-inch vent as the standard. If your vent run exceeds 12 feet vertically (or installation is more than 2,500 ft above sea level), then you must switch to a 4-inch vent.
