    1. The spreader can be used to spread ice melt salt. It is suitable to spread salt, sand, seed and fertilizer.

  2. Can you get a shield to limit spread area and is there a cover available to keep weather out?

    1. The spreader does not come with a shield to limit the area. It would rely on the settings and the gate flow. You would control spread with the settings and with your tractors speed. It does not come with a cover.
