  1. Which wire on the ignition is the constant? Trying to wire my bow and stern lights into the ignition and have the 23 vanguard motor. I want the lights to come on when the ignition is in the on position. Thanks

    1. The best option to have the lights come on when in the on position would be to connect to the power line of the after fire solenoid switch power wire. It’s only powered when the key switch is in the on or start position.

  2. I was just wanted to know the rod and piston size for the 23 horsepower vanguard twin all specs for the replacement prices for the rods

    1. The length of the piston rod is 6.5". The width is 3.25". The thickness is 1/2".

    1. The engine does not come with the muffler. One can be ordered to come out the right or left side of the engine.
