    1. The reset tool must be plugged into a computer. Once connected, the application will launch automatically. Please refer to pages 29-34 of the Product Manual for additional details about the update process.

  6. How to get the tool to update. I followed instructions and update assist software fails to send verification code. I can not register or update.

    1. The scanner will need to be attached to a computer using the USB cable to update. You will need to go to the update option on the screen. You will follow the update instructions that are included in the manual starting on page 29.
