  4. Do you have to use the 12 hour timer, or can it be set to a temperature say 65 and left on.

    1. The 12-hour timer is just an added safety feature to automatically shut it off, it does not have to be used. You can just set it to the desired temperature and leave it on. The built-in thermostat will cycle the heater on and off to the set temperature.

    1. 3 heaters would not be adequate to heat a 2000 sq ft garage. You would need approximately 30,000-40,000 BTU for a 2000 sq ft garage.

    1. The heater has connections for an external thermostat, but it requires a line voltage (240V) thermostat. It is not compatible with a low voltage (24V) thermostat. The heater does not require any venting.
