This versatile tool collects temperatures ranging from -58 degrees Fahrenheit all the way up to 1022 degrees Fahrenheit (-50 to 550 Celsius) with 2% accuracy. For maximum accuracy, it is recommended to collect temperatures from less than one foot away from your target. The reference temperature function allows you to easily verify if an item is within a desired temperature range, with both visual and auditory alerts if the target is outside of the range – flashing blue if too cold and red if too hot. The backlit display makes for easy readings in dark spaces, while the auto-power off feature maximizes the lifespan of the included 9V battery. NOTE: not intended for human temperature testing.
