120 Volts conversion of water pump
Item 10805 says it is factory wired for 230 V with easy conversion. Does that mean it can be converted to 120V?
If so, what specifications change when it's 120V?-
No that is not Possible on this pump You need the 1.5HP that one is easy to change to 120V

I am using two of these units drawing from a creek 15 feet below the level of the pumop. Spec says 25 feet is OK. The longer discharge line feeds 520 feet of 2" PVC pipe up a hill with a total rise of 16 more feet with several hydrants. I am feeding at least 20 sprinlers that are rated a 3 GPM. There is no shortage of water. The head end pressure is 42 PSI and the end-of-line pressure is 14 PSI at this load. I am well pleased.

weather resistant motor?
I'm looking for an irrigation pump and was wondering if the motor was a sealed motor. Our current pump sits outside at the edge of the lake and does not have any covering. I want a pump that can with stand the elements including direct contact with rain.

all though I think is pump would do just fine in the rain I would recommend you cover it with some kind of protection

The motor on this pump is not sealed and is not advised to be used out in the weather. None of these type of pumps are designed for contact with the rain.

The suction can be adapted to a 3" pipe. The manufacturer recommends increasing the diameter of the suction or discharge if the distance is longer than 50 feet.
