  1. I'm wondering if I could use this for dirty brakish water? I live on a canal on a river that has brakish water, as it's near the ocean. Street drains bring tidal water into our streets occasionally, during a hurricane surge.Garage worries...

    1. The salt in the water would damage the pump's gaskets and allow water to seep into the motor housing, so it is not recommended for the described application.
