Product Summary

VIAIR's 97C compressor kit is a light duty solution for smaller air applications. It is meant to fill air tanks 1.0 gallon or less. This oil-less compressor comes with an external check valve and chrome finish but does not include a mounting option. Air is drawn in through porous gaskets, so no air filter is required. Compressor is rated to 13.8 volts from a charging car battery. The 97C is a popular choice for Motorcycle Air Suspension.

  1. Looking for something that will inflate my dually truck wheels after coming off the beach (need to inflate to 90lbs). Will this compressor be able to do this? Second question: what comes with the compressor to attach to my battery?

    1. This compressor kit is designed for light-duty applications such as small tires or motorcycle air suspensions. Larger truck tires may require a larger compressor. Item #5130832 would be a better option. It will include wiring to connect to your truck battery.
