  You need to be able to see the yellow tip of the pole. The carpet roll must not be longer than the pole.

How does it attach to the forklift?

Does it have to be lifted to attach or can you just drive up to it and hook up?

  You can drive up to attach the carriage mounted poles. They feature a spring loaded locking pin that secures them to the carriage.
