Product Summary

Provide the extra support needed to lift long or large objects with a fork truck. Welded steel construction with tapered steel tips. Steel retaining strap (loop style*) prevents fork extensions from sliding off forks during use. Baked-in powder coat finish for added toughness. OSHA regulations require that extensions are no more than 150% of the existing fork length. (e.g. 48in. existing forks, the fork extension should not exceed 72in.). Maximum uniform capacity is 4,000 pounds evenly distributed per pair. To be used with class 2 and class 3 forks only.

  1. It says this is a 5.0" fork extension. Does that mean it fits over a 5.0" wide fork? The specs say it's 7-3/8" wide, but I don't want to assume it's wide enough to fit over my forks that are 4-7/8" wide. Please advise.

    1. The fork extension fits forks with an inside with of 5 inches. The usable fork extension inside width is 5.5 inches.
