  1. What is the maximum thickness of forks for these to fit?

    1. These fork extensions are designed to fit a 4" x 72" fork that would be a standard industry class II fork and this would be a 2" thick fork. These fork extension are open on the bottom and there is no maximum thickness listed for them. They could fit a thicker fork

  2. Do the #103986 extensions fit on the #103979 forks?

    The description isn't very clear. I am ordering the #103979 forks to replace our current bent forks. We need extensions to pick up longer pallets that get delivered. Are the #103986 extensions the correct ones I need to order?

    1. Yes, Atlas Fork Extensions - 4in. x 72in will work with item number 103979, Atlas Forklift Forks. They fit all forks that are 4 inches wide.

  3. How do these mount on exsting forks?

    1 answer

    1. The Atlas Fork Extensions attach to the existing forks by tilting the fork at a 45 degree angle so the loop on the back of the fork slides over the existing fork. Also the bottom of the forks has a band that will slip over the bottom fork.
