This convertible hand truck's handle is removable after pulling the cotter pins on each side when it's in the upright/vertical position. After placing it in the down/horizontal position, insert the handle into the short tubes that extend above the smaller casters/wheels. Then insert the cotter pins into the short tubes to hold the handle in place. The handle can then be used to maneuver your load easily.

When the unloaded cart is in vertical position take out the pins securing the handle in place. Pull out handle from the cart. Once cart is in horizontal position put handle back in place and secure the pins in place for safe handling.
