Product Summary

The Ultra-Tow XTP Ultra-Pack Trailer Hub is a fully assembled, prelubed hub designed to simplify bearing maintenance and extend service life. Its proprietary Ultra-Pack greasing system allows bearings to be repacked through an integrated zerk fitting without hub removal, pushing old grease out the front for a complete refresh while protecting the rear seal.

    1. The length of the hub is 4 1/4" with out the dust cap and 5 5/8" with dust cap.

  5. Will 25mm bearings work on a 1” spindle?

    1. Using a 25mm bearing is not recommended with the 1" spindle. The fit of the bearing would be loose and sloppy.

    1. This is a 4 on 4" hub. The adjacent studs are 2" apart.

  7. Axle size and seal size dimensions in specs are backwards Correct dimensions Axle: 1” Seal: 1.25”

    1. The seal inside diameter is 1". The outside diameter of the seal is 1-1/4". This is compatible with a spindle like item #5712451. This is a 1-/4" spindle. The 1" diameter end of this spindle would fit through the hub.

  8. what is the diameter where the wheel goes on the hub? I just bought new wheels and tires. The new wheel center hole is 2 3/4" the old wheels and hubs are 2 1/2".

    1. This hub requires a rim center hole (pilot) diameter of at least 2-1/2". A rim with a 2-3/4" pilot would fit this hub.

  9. What is the size of the splines on the wheel studs. I know the studs are 1/2" x 20 x 2" but needing to replace one but find them with .54" and .63" splines?

    1. The spline size is 13.4 MM (0.52").

  10. Grease Zerk Question?

    Is the grease zerk threaded, or is it the type that in driven into the hole in the hub. I have found the drive in type zerk fitting can come out when removing the grease gun from the zerk fitting.
