    Does this jack come with the male mounting tube that would weld onto the trailer tongue?

    1. The unit comes with a round tube that is part of the swivel that gets welded to the trailer frame.

  3. Welded or clamp on

    Hi, I need to install a center tongue jack in my a-frame trailer. It cannot be on the side because it interferes with my weight distribution hitch. I would prefer to have a bracket to connect the jack to the frame. Is that possible with this product?

    1. The jacks you list have weld-on and bracket mounting options respectively, but are not specifically designed for A-frame trailers. Please see my product recommendation for an A-frame style jack with bracket mounting, item number 47344.

  4. Is the handle removable?

    I would like to remove the handle and add an adapter for a drill. Is the handle removable?

    1. Modifications to the jack are not recommended and would void the manufacturer’s warranty. The handle can be removed for replacement and parts are available from Northern Tool Parts Department at 1-800-657-0516.

  5. Does this jack fit a standard 2" dia. swivel mount with a 5/8" pin.?

    1. This unit features a 2-1/4" diameter mount and a pin size of 0.65". We do not offer a swivel wheel option for this jack, at this time.
