  1. WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE MOUNTING BASE

    1. The mounting base measures 5" wide x 5.47" long. There are three mounting holes at the front. The two outer slots measure 15/16" long and are positioned 1-1/8" from each side edge (center to edge). The center hole is 3/8" in diameter and is centered on the base. All three holes are located 9/16" back from the front edge of the base.

  3. Can I use nylon rope instead of cable? I want to use this on my boat for an anchor and use with rope.
