This heavy-duty Ultra-Tow hub is preassembled, prelubed with premium grease and ready for easy assembly on your trailer axle. Use the Ultra-Tow Easy ID to easily identify the components you need. Constructed with ductile cast iron for higher tensile strength, less deflection and excellent corrosion resistance. Electroplated to resist rust and corrosion.

    1. They do not come with the castle nut. I don't know why because they come with a cotter pin.

  2. Is this the hub assembly that fits your 3500lb axle

    Is this the hub assembly that fits your reliable Underslung 71.25" 3500LB capacity axle? Looks like it is.

    1. The hub is designed to be used with a 3500 pound axle. The hub will work with axle item number 48193.

    2. The most important thing to pay attention to is the size of the inner and outer bearings. Check the spindle size on the underslung axle for fit.

  3. What wheels will fit this?

    1. This Ultra-Tow high speed hub will fit trailer wheels that have a 5 hole on 4-1/2 inch bolt circle pattern. The OD of the stub on the hub that will fit the center of the rim is 2 9/16". The wheel/tire assembly item number 121671 will work with the hub set.

    2. Try a five lug rim of 10" or 12" inside diameter. They won't fit my standard 8" rims.

    1. The individual capacity of this hub is 1750 lbs. It is designed to be used with a 3500 lb. axle.

  5. How could the ID be large than the OD?

    1. This hub has a tapered spindle. The inner bearing, #L68149 has a 1-3/8" ID. The outer bearing, #L44649, has a 1-1/6" ID.
