  5. Is this motor actually 1.2 hp?

    The hp is listed at 1.2, is this correct or is it 1/2 hp like model # 5541095. How are these two motors different? They show almost identical specs in the comparison but different price.

    1. Yes, the correct horsepower is 1.2. The difference is in the gear ratios.

      Model # 5541065 = 60:1 gear ratio
      Model # 5541095 = 90:1 gear ratio
