    Where is the thermostat? Is it on the unit, or a wall mount?

    1. On the unit on the top side. Not convenient if you mount it more than 4 or 5 feet off the ground

    1. This TPI heater has to be hardwired, a cord and plug are not included.

  5. What is the noise level of the heater when operating?

    Looking for a heater for a 2000sqft room in a building that currently has no heat. If the noise is excessive the room will not be useable for meetings which defeats the purpose of installing the heater.

    1. This TPI Heater is rated at 71 decibels. That would be comparable to an average radio sound level.

  6. how tall can the ceiling be with 2200 sq ft

    1. A maximum ceiling height is not required. The bottom of these units must be mounted at least 6 ft. off the floor and the top 2 ft. from the ceiling.

    You have one on wheels. I would like a swing mount with the same specifications as the wheel mounted heater.

    1. This heater is not available through Northern in a 240 volt, 42 amp, single phase configuration.

    1. The temperature range for the thermostat is 40-100 degrees and it can be easily adjusted with a knob on the side of the heater.

    would this heater work in a dusty shop example small body shop sanding dust?

    1. This heater is 240 volt single phase and it could be used in a dusty shop with no problems.

  10. What size wire and breaker is needed

    1. The wire needed for this heater is a 4 gauge 3 wire or called 4/3 SO in the industry. TPI the manufacturer also supplies an optional 25 foot cord and plug. This heater has to be on a 65 amp or greater dedicated circuit
