  1. How is this wired?

    1 answer

    1. The black motor lead wire is connected to the power source. The green wire is for ground purposes only. Wiring instructions are included with the blower. Wiring can vary per application.

  2. Can this be be installed on the side of a duct? Head height requirements would not be met if this was hanging down under the duct.

    1. The duct booster must be installed with the motor shaft horizontally. It can be installed either on the bottom or top of a horizontal duct or any side of a vertical duct.

  3. tjernlund duct booster fan video said use a ps1503 control to hook up to furnace. I can not find this on your web site

    1. The manufacturer does not have a decibel or sone rating on the fan.

  5. Will this install with fiberglass duct-board type of duct? Can it be installed from the top? Our central air A/C ducts are in the attic with no access to mount from below.

    1. This cannot be installed in a fiberglass duct-board type of duct. It also cannot be installed from the top.

  9. will this item work with a varaible speed control?

    1. This blower motor controller should not be a variable speed tap type, This should be wired to a on off switch or the high speed side of the furnace fan if you have a two speed blower on your furnace.

    1. The overall dimensions for this unit is 7in. Length and 4in. diameter with a mounting template of 4in. x 7in as well. The item would install in ducts 5in. in diameter or more and in rectangular ducts at east 3 1/4in. deep.
