  1. Can the Titan Siphon Feed Spray Gun, Model# 19418 be used to spray latex paint? (I have a bookcase to spray and I want a professional look)

    Also, will a pancake-style compressor work with this spray gun?

    1. Yes, Just be sure and stay 12 to 18 inches away. It works best 40 -50 lbs of air pressure. Be sure and adjust your nozzles to your desire consistencies as per the directions.

    2. Yes, you only need 24-45 PSI to paint with this sprayer. Although, if you are doing a lot of painting I would recommend a larger compressor.

    3. If you thin the paint down enough it will work. You will want to use a bigger compressor, the pancake compressor will run out of air to quick. You will need a compressor with 4 to 7 CFMs. See my recommendations below for guns that will great for latex paint.

  2. Will this gun work with epoxy based paint. Its extremly thick.

    2. This Titan Siphon Feed Spray Gun will work with some epoxy based paints. It is recommended you check with your paint manufacturer to ensure the type of epoxy based paint you are using is compatible.

  4. Can this item work with oil based stains?

    I am replacing some cedar siding boards on my house. Will this sprayer work with an oil based stain ?

    1. Yes it can be used with oil based stains.

    2. The spray gun should work with oil base stains. It is recommended to check with the manufacturer of the stain to be sure the stain will go through a 1.8mm fluid nozzle and needle which this spray gun has.

    1. The spray gun could not be used on the Titan 95 series. It is not designed for the airless high-pressure sprayers.

    1. It is best to contact the manufacturer of the bed liner to make sure this is compatible. This has a 1.8 mm fluid nozzle. We have a roll on option, item 447500.
