  1. Is the pump gpm adjustable down to 1.0 - 1.5 gpm?

    1. The flow rate of the pump is up tp 4 GPM (1.1 GPM with oil). There is not an adjustment of the flow on the pump. The only adjustment of the flow rate will be with the manual nozzle control.

  2. How many inches does the rod going to the container holding the fluid extend to?

    1. The intake tube is adjustable from 16.5'' to 22.6''.

  3. Are the parts food grade? Is this safe to use for deep fryer cooking oils? It would be nice to transfer cooking oil & reusing for another day.

    1. The pump is not food grade approved.

  4. Is this pump suitable for pumping sodium hypochlorite liquid?

    1. The pump is not compatible with concentrated acids, drinking water, acetone, benzene, cresol, ethyl, phenol, methyl ethyl, concentrated caustic liquid soda, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, thinners or solvents and sodium hypochlorite.

  5. What is the max viscosity of liquid this pump can work with ( the viscosity of our oil blend is in the range of 100-500 cPs, does it work with 5-6 gallon plastic container without sealing the pump on the inlet of plastic container? Thanks!

    1. The pump is designed to handle liquids no thicker than 5W30 oil (viscosity index of 154). The pump will attach to the outside rim of the bucket using three tightening screws on the lid.

  6. Can that pump be used on a 55 gallon drum?

    1. This is designed for use with 5 gallon bucket/pail. It is not compatible with a 55 gallon drum.
