Product Summary

The Strongway Telescoping Gantry Crane is an all-steel unit that allows one operator to hoist heavy items easily. Designed for use with a trolley hoist (not included), this crane's I-beam adjusts from 8.2ft.–12.14ft.H with 12 positive stops that provide sturdy overhead lift points points for lifting car engines, heavy machinery and other equipment. The easy-crank handle allows for raising and lowering without difficulty. The distance between posts is 7.05ft. This crane rolls smoothly on 5in. ball bearing casters (2 locking). Width: 7.22ft. I-beam height: 8.2ft.

    1. When moving the crane while loaded, keep the load as close to the floor as possible and position the load in the center of the beam.

  3. Is the rod through the middle there all the time ?

    1. The middle connecting rod is used for raising and lowering the beam. After raising is completed by one person, the rod can be removed. If two people are raising the beam, one on each side, the connecting rod is not required.
