  1. what is the recommended Amp settings to charge this battery.

    1. When recharging this battery, the amp setting (output) on your charger should be 30 or less. On hotter temperature days (77 degrees Fahrenheit or higher), we recommend using a maximum amp setting of 15. Charging it at lower amp settings (15 and below) will prolong the life of the battery.

  2. Is it pre-charged? Years of Shelf life w/o use?

    Is this Battery pre-charged & ready for use or is it not ready for use?

    Can this battery be keep in long term storage w/o charging?

    Can the life span be extended by trickle charge while in long term storage?

    1. The battery will arrive ready to use upon purchasing. The battery can be stored long term without charging. The label on the unit advises to replace the battery once every 3-5 years. You would be able to charge the battery however it may not extend the battery life as the unit should still be replaced once every 3-5 years.
