    1. The Interstate 27M-EFB marine battery connects using its 5/16‑18 threaded stud terminals, and your positive and negative ring‑terminal leads must be secured directly to those studs with the supplied nuts for a proper marine‑grade connection.

  10. Why does this sealed battery not need maintenance? I thought all flooded batteries needed electrolyte levels refilled. This is not an agm or gel type. Does this battery not last as long as the maintenance type? Thanks

    1. The battery uses recombination technology. This means the battery requires less maintenance and does not need to be refilled once the battery is activated. This allows the electrolyte fluid to remain in place so that the battery never leaks or loses fluid. Once the battery cools, the electrolyte condenses and returns to its cells.
