This Strongway Adjustable Gantry Crane is ideal for shops where lifting is an essential part of the business. This all-steel yet lightweight crane goes where forklifts can’t. The adjustment range of this crane is from 7.45ft.–11.31ft. with 12 positive stops to provide a sturdy overhead point for lifting car engines, heavy machinery and other equipment. The distance between vertical beams is 7.82ft. Quick assembly and disassembly allow for easy transport within a jobsite or from site to site. The auto-lock feature keeps this unit secure. Superstrong 5in. casters (4 locking) with rubber roll smoothly and swivel 360°. This gantry crane is NOT to be moved while loaded.

  1. Where can you get a cover or what can you use to cover from elements?

    1. At this time, there is no cover designed specifically for this gantry crane. A tarp could be used to protect it from the elements if it must be used and left outside.

  2. Hello, We're looking to find the location of the center of gravity of this gantry that we have purchased from you. Can you please assist us on this?

    1. When empty: The center of gravity is located on the vertical centerline of the gantry at a height of approximately one-third to one-half of the total height, closer to the base.

      When lifting: The center of gravity changes as the load height varies and moves in the direction of the hook’s travel. During this movement, it remains on the vertical centerline of the gantry and will not shift outside the support area formed by the four casters.

  3. What is the square tubing OD, ID, and wall thickness for Item #3 Post Sleeve?

    1. The inner tube measures approximately 60.5 mm OD, 54.5 mm ID, with a 2.75 mm thick wall, while the outer tube measures about 70.3 mm OD, 65.0 mm ID, also with a 2.75 mm thick wall.

    1. At the longest and widest point (the base), the gantry crane measures 102.36" long x 47.24" wide. The height is adjustable from 94.44" to 141.6".

  8. What type of grease is recommended for the wheel and swivel caster Bearings? The manual says to grease them but doesn't suggest which type(s) to use. I understand some greases are incompatible and it isn't clear what type was used at the factory.
