Product Summary

As part of the 135 platform, the HLA 135 K (0°) Extended Reach Hedge Trimmer lets pros enjoy the clean, quiet benefits of battery-powered equipment without compromising performance and durability thanks to zero exhaust emissions and low noise. Built using the same shaft, gearbox and blades as found on the HL 94, this trimmer — the lightest HLA 135 — combines a proven, durable weather-resistant design with Battery Power. Made By STIHL. With a short shaft (designated by K) and 0° fixed blade for precision trimming and a variable-speed trigger with three performance levels, pros can take on jobs with the versatility and performance they demand. The powerful brushless motor is virtually maintenance free. The onboard battery slot can support either an onboard battery, or a backpack battery for even longer run times.

  • Utilizes the shaft, gearbox and blades as seen on gas HL 94 extended-reach hedge trimmers.
  • Features an onboard battery slot to easily allow use with an onboard cartridge style battery or backpack battery.
  • ZEE certification indicates professional battery power and environmental responsibility.

  • Having easy access to all of the controls on one comfortable handle helps makes it easier to complete tasks so the operator’s hand never has to leave the handle.
  • The blade cover helps protect the cutting blade during storage and transport.
  • STIHL Battery powered products feature a retaining latch that prevents the unit from unintentional starts when the battery is inserted.
  • Soft rubber texture is both easy to grip and makes the product comfortable to hold for extended periods.
  • The STIHL Inc. “Caring for Nature” seal identifies its powered products that are more environmentally conscious, producing zero or low exhaust emissions. STIHL Inc. defines “low exhaust emissions” as being cleaner than EPA and/or CARB exhaust emission standards.

Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
Sort by:

  1. What mix do I use

    1 answer

    1. This is a 36 volt battery powered hedge trimmer. There is no oil or gas mixture required for it. See item #63988 for battery charger for it and item 88936 for a battery.

      Helpful?

  2. Does it come with a battery and charger?

    1 answer

    1. The hedge trimmer does not include the battery or charger. The AP 200, item #113847 is the battery and AL 301, item #63988 would be the charger for it.
