  2. I am looking for something to trim along the bottom of my fence without hurting the fence.  Does this have a guard so I don’t damage my fence?

  4. Is the trimmer removable from the pole?  I need the 8 in. Hedge trimming function most of all, but will use the grass clipper on pole occasionally.
