    1. The transfer pump would be intended for use with water only.

  2. can I use this to pump maple sap from one container to another. Not water but sap.

    1. It may work for a short time, but would fail fairly quickly as the thick viscosity of maple syrup will create much more resistance and force than the what this unit was designed to handle.
