  1. Can this pump be used with a float switch? Float switch  would be in a cistern that triggers the pump when water level is close to overflowing ? Essentially acting as an overflow pump?

    1. A float switch can be used with the pump. You will also need to add a foot or check valve to the intake line so that the pump will maintain its prime.
