    1. The noise level on this unit is probably around 95 to 100 db. California Air Tools make quiet units that are 60 to 70 db. Check them out on Northerns website and watch the videos.

  2. What is the duty cycle of the compressor?

    1. The duty cycle is typically 50/50. Which means while in use it should be off equal to the time it is running. That is always my rule and you will achieve optimum life expectancy.

  4. Is the air compressor shown here actually manufactured by Snap-on or is it manufactured by a contractor with a license to put the Snap-on name on it?

    Is the compressor that your company sales actually 100% manufactured by Snap-on? I spoke to a Snap-on rep and he advised that many contractors have a license to put the Snap-on name on their compressors but their compressors are not actually made by Snap-on--for example, the snap-on compressors sold at large chain stores such as Costco, are not made by Snap-on.

    1. This Snap-on Horizontal Air Compressor is manufactured by another company other than Snap-On. The manufacture of this particular unit is All Trade.
