    1. This Simpson Dura-Vent Stovepipe will not fit over a 6-1/2” diameter flue opening.

  2. Does the Dura-vent stainless chimney pipe slide inside the Dura-Vent Stovepipe? In other words do I need to order the stove pipe and the chimney Pipe?

    1. Both stove pipe and chimney pipe are required. The stove pipe can be used within the room that contains the stove. Once the stove pipe goes through the ceiling or into a wall for venting, insulated chimney pipe is required. Stove pipe is generally cheaper and is crucial to effective heating of the space, but it cannot come into direct contact with ceilings or walls.
