    1. We appreciate you reaching out. The 1/2" sanding sleeves install directly onto the spindle and do not require a drum.

    1. Thank you for getting in touch with us. The W1846 features a slightly smaller motor, with 1/4 HP compared to 1/2 HP. Additionally, it has a spindle speed of 30 SPM, while the W1831 operates at 58 SPM.
