  2. I saw two of these used at a party under tent where people were sitting the air flow was amazingly kool to cold air .  I was thinking of getting one for my covered  Porch / terrace  of 10ft X 20ft.  Are they safe for outdoor use like this under a cover

    1. The fan can be used outdoors under a cover. It needs to be mounted at 7 feet or higher per regulations.

    1. This fan needs to be mounted at 7 feet or higher to be OSHA approved. It is rated for 1,470 CFM so it would take just over 2 minutes to circulate the air in your space completely.

    1. The fan is not waterproof. The motor is totally enclosed and can handle some rain/water. It is recommended that the fan be installed under a covered area.

    1. This fan is a single speed fan. It cannot be used with a variable speed controller.

  7. Variable Speeds and Reversed

    i would like to run this fan at variable speeds for my application. At times even reversing air flow would be beneficial for the application. Is this possible?

    1. It is variable speed capable and would require a variable speed controller. The fan cannot be reversed.

  8. Is there a sound level rating in dB? Is it CE rated? What is the airflow at 230V 50Hz

    1. The decibel rating next to the fan is 73 and 50 feet away it is 64 decibels.
      The fan is not CE rated.
      The manufacturer does not recommend use at 230 volts/ 50 Hz.
