Product Summary

Sandpiper Pumps feature an externally serviceable air distribution system and all-bolted construction. Self-priming pumps can run dry without damage and are capable of deadheading against a closed discharge, eliminating the need for bypass or pressure relief valves. Seal-less design and corrosion-resistant materials make the pumps ideal for solids handling and high-suction lift applications such as transferring antifreeze, ATF, light viscosity petroleum and synthetic-based oil and waste oils. NOTE: Use inline filter regulator Item# 15641 with 1/4in. air inlet. U.S.A.

  1. Is this pump compatible with gasoline, kerosene, and nitromethane? The intent is to use this pump to transfer liquid from one 55 gallon drum to another. Will we need any additional equipment other than air, transfer, and grounding lines?

    1. The pump is not recommended to be used for gasoline, kerosene or nitromethane. This is the pump only. It does not come with the accessories needed to transfer the liquid.

    1. This air-operated double diaphragm pump cannot be mounted/used in an upside down position.

  3. what is the maximum sucktion head for self priming?

    1. This unit will self prime up to 5ft above liquid level when pumping water. Self priming distance may be reduced when pumping thicker materials.
