Product Summary

The Roughneck 2-Way Rotary Pump Kit is a quick and easy way to transfer fuel when a gravity feed system is not available. 2-way operation allows you to dispense or siphon gasoline, diesel, kerosene and biofuels. Delivers up to 1 gallon per 12 revolutions. Intended for use with the Roughneck Poly Gas Caddies (Item#s 48535 and 40549) or Diesel Caddy (Item# 42859), sold separately.

  1. Is there a rebuild kit for when it starts leaking out the shaft?

    1. A rebuild kit is not available for this product at this time. The only replacement parts currently offered are the suction and discharge hoses.

  3. Can I put an extention on the suction hose end

    1. This rotary hand pump has a max suction lift of 30". Adding an extension is not recommended.

  4. Can I use this product to transfer heavy weight gear oil?

    1. This rotary pump kit cannot be used to transfer heavy weight gear oil. Northern doesn't carry a similar pump that's capable of gear oil transfer.

  5. Can this pump be used with motor oil?

    1. This unit is only designed to be used with gasoline, diesel, kerosene and bio-fuels. It is not capable of pumping motor oil.
